Hey all,

I posted in the hunting forum, but figured this may get more eyes on here. On April 27th, Safari Club International New England Foundation is hosting it's annual fundraising banquet. The event will be held at the Boston Marriot in Newton, MA.

Why am I posting it here? Well...we raffle off A LOT of guns...so I figured this was the right place to get people's attention!

We will have over 60 guns to raffle off, general and super raffles, a live auction featuring hunting and fishing trips from around the country/world, destination trips, professional emcees and auctioneers, an in house silent auction with over 50 items, in house live auction, raffle girls and in house vendors.

This year the banquet is sponsored by Sig Sauer, but also attending are some other familiar names like: Hogue, Pelican, Sherman Cookers, Filson and Eastern Security Safe to name a few.
We have fishing charter captains in house as well as big game and waterfowl guides, taxidermists and a variety of other vendors.

Among some of the bigger raffles we have will be a new Sig Cross Magnum with Tango 6 scope, a Wall of Guns sponsored by White Birch Armory with over 20 firearms to choose from, and a $8000 Fort Knoxx Safe loaded with $8k worth of firearms and accessories that one person will take home!

I've included links for tickets and a link to our Facebook page where we've been posting daily updates about the banquet, as well as pictures from last year's banquet auction.

If you're unfamiliar with SCI, we are the world's largest, non profit, hunter advocacy group. We fight the legal battles that face sportsmen all over the world. We have 8 lobbysists in DC that are constantly fighting for your hunting and gun rights. To put in perspective, the NRA only has 3! As the New England Chapter, funds raised at our banquet get to stay here and help out locally. We donate to boy scout troops, host fishing derby's for kids, give back to various wildlife programs, including the wild chestnut foundation and collaring and studying moose calves and bear cubs, and we also host a mentored youth program where we take underprivileged kids on a dream hunt where we provide them meals, lodging, all the hunting gear they need that they get to keep, and help them get their first animals...and that's just naming a few things.

If you'd like more information about the banquet or to become a member, please reach out!
