If a magazine blocks easily removable then I don’t see how it would be in accordance with MA law.Magblock Limiters for Canik Magazines.
Magblock 10 and 15 round limiters for Canik magazines.www.magazineblocks.com
Huh? What’s wrong with the magazine? What happens if a LGS gives you a 18 round mag with a new handgun purchase? It only came with a single mag. The person had a chance to see if there is a stopper in it, not even sure if that is a real thing. The shop didn't have any spare mags to buy so it is not like that can swap it out. It will be used by the person as a range gun at best. What advice can I pass along?

Sorry i disagree.I strongly disagree. There are plenty of ways that you could get investigated for which the police may not be able to make a case against you. But holding onto a post-ban magazine that is clearly postban is just handing them a felony conviction. Other stuff might have been hard for them to prove, but for many postban magazines it’s a slam dunk conviction and now you are a federally prohibited person.
It’s just not worth that risk.
A lot of charges can be questionable. Remember the fellow in Western MA who shot a home intruder and then 10 or 15 minutes later shot him again and killed him? He was recently acquitted.Sorry i disagree.
If you're at the point where they are counting how many rounds your mag holds
Chances are you did something really really really dumb to precipitate that... and you're not getting out of it either way
I mean..thats why i always had gay mags next to my illegal ones when i lived in massA lot of charges can be questionable. Remember the fellow in Western MA who shot a home intruder and then 10 or 15 minutes later shot him again and killed him? He was recently acquitted.
If he had used a postban large capacity magazine, he would now be a felon.
Don’t give law enforcement an easy conviction. Make them work for it.
How would that help you?I mean..thats why i always had gay mags next to my illegal ones when i lived in mass

if it is a 'risk' or a 'meh' depends upon what else will be found in your residence if the good lovable peacekeeping gestapo busts your doors and starts tearing walls down in the effort to find what is it you may possibly have. It’s just not worth that risk.
Postban ar15s lowers are arguable.if it is a 'risk' or a 'meh' depends upon what else will be found in your residence if the good lovable peacekeeping gestapo busts your doors and starts tearing walls down in the effort to find what is it you may possibly have.
according to GOAL - any ar15 lower that is post-94 will grant you a similar fed jail time as a 10+ rounds mag. so, well, it is a game you play, if one wants to be guaranteed safe - just surrender all you have to the police department. as all other scenarios under the current absence of a clear law do not guarantee any safety whatsoever.
well, if all of us are destined to be convicted - better work on your shiv making skills. Why do you want to give them a slam dunk conviction?

Maura's face, makes my acid reflux act up!
i am tired of those threads. it will never lead nowhere.April 1 is still months away.
This is the kind of complete BS that makes me glad I DON'T live in the PRM.Back when I bought one of my HK P30s, there was a shortage of factory HK 10 round commie mags, so they just pinned 15/10 rounders and threw it in the case. Pullman Arms was not happy when I tried to sell to a buyer and wanted them to transfer it. I told them it came pinned from HK like that but their worker, short stout guy with the glasses grabbed the mags, glared at me, and told one of his workers to take it back and load it up and CHECK IT. Dude was using all his might and upper body trying to jam in 11 and couldn't do it and finally gave up after 5 min and allowed the transfer lol.
