Newbe question

My advice to you is try before you buy, either at a shoot with people here or up at a rental range like Manchester. Especially when it comes to pistols, some will feel good in your hand and others will be a weird angle, too big, etc... It's a very personal thing.

Either start with .22 or if you really want large calibers right off the bat do yourself a favor and get a full sized heavy pistol to absorb the recoil.

Yeah...the angle was kind of weird on the Ruger, but after a short while I got used to it. I'm probably going to take everyones advice and go with a .22 though.....but I imagine the credit card will be jumping out of my pocket again shortly after that :)
