I am considering an NFA Trust for the purchase of a Class III firearm and was wondering if any of the members have experienced setting up a trust using an attorney and what is considered a "fair" price to set up the trust?

It's a trust you can setup so you can bypass asking your Chief for permission to buy an NFA item such as a short barreled rifle or shotgun.

Oh and by the way what you want to purchase is a NFA Weapon or a Title II weapon.

Class 3 is the designation given to the dealer that sells and or deals with the weapon IE there is class I, class II and class III.

And as to the topic I have seen trusts written up for as low as 300.00 and as high as 600.00.

Write NFA Branch of BATF for copies of trusts used.
