Oct 2010 antolope hunt...need info

I hunted New Mexico for antelope in September a few years ago and the outfitter 1st suggested brown colored camo, like RealTree Advantage pattern. About a month before the hunt, he updated me and said its been a wet summer and wear more green patterns. Antelope have great eyesight. They were also not coming into the watering holes, so it made for longer shots. He suggested we zero our rifles for 300yds (I left mine at 200yds but knew my trajectory) and shots would range from 150-350yds with average being 200-250yds. If you're using an outfitter, check with him. I would also suggest a laser range finder and good optics (scope and binoculars) as you can afford. I brought my 8x bino's and was waaaaaaay under-powered; my 3-9x scope was fine.
