OH MY GOD!!! FEMA NIGHTMARE!!!

I just watched CNN Headline News in a state of shock! Much like Bluto as the Jack Daniels hit the pavement, I gasped as I watched the disposal and destruction of SIX MILLION MRE'S!!!!

Apparently, they were allocated for Katrina, left outdoors, mismanaged and ultimately headed for the dump!

Our tax dollars at work - what a bunch of morons!!!

They were left over from the 2006 hurricane season that never happened. If they didn't have them stockpiled after Katrina, everyone would have been screaming. Unfortunatly they stored more than they had room for although I can't see how you can damage a MRE. They also said they were removing the items that weren't damaged for reuse.
