I just got a list of almost 40 Soldier, Sailors, and Marines needing some support.
Anyone up for sending letters and care packages? [grin]
Thanks.

would be ok if you PM me the address?

i'm active duty with the mass guard and could pass the word along to my unit.

there is also the red cross - among the other org's who are already established. we usually bring boxes of stuff to our Familiy Readiness Group (FRG) person at the unit(s) as well.

You want all the addys? I have a few orgs that have helped me in the past so will also be contacting them.[grin][wink]

One that topic our club along with Pioneer Sportsmen holds a match for the benefit of the NH Chaplains Emergency Relief Fund. One hundred percent of the proceeds goes to the fund. We hope it gets bigger each year. Sig's staff from the academy attended last year. It's a fun match and outside of safety we don't take ourselves too seriously. We have fun and get some shooting in all for a good cause.

Here's some info...

all of the org's are GREAT!

not ONE org is better than another. I am cautious about sending goods to one place or another w/o confirmation that it is actually going to a service member.

if anyone wants information on FRG-related issues, feel free to PM me.

I have enclosed a few "generic" websites here:

****the quickest way is to contact your local org.*****

NOTE: I am NOT affilicated with any of the agencies above - but I am a service member....... PM me with any questions.

CDIAZ Thank you also for your service. I am also involved with a few orgs. My main one right now that takes up most of my time is Silver Star Families of America. We honor the wounded from all wars.
There are lots of really good ones out there.

I am more than willing to send over some care packages!

Do they need the same stuff I send over to my sister??
