+P+ 9mm Ammo for SR9C?

Hey guys. Ruger says no on +P+ 9mm on SR9C, anyone have an opinion? I have like 150 to 200 rounds of police ammo in 9mm +P+. If I can't fire it, I can't use it. I would like some real feedback. Otherwise, I hav some 9mm +P+ ammo for sale. Thanks

Easy...follow mfg guidelines. If the say not rated for +P+, then don't do it.

Is there ANY manufacturer that OK's +P+ ammo in their guns? With no standard for what +P+ actually is, how could any company come out and say their gun can handle it? I would never feed any gun a steady diet of +P or +P+ just for use on the range. It's kind of a waste, and entirely unnecessary for punching holes in paper. If it were me, I'd set some of it aside for a "rainy day" and sell the rest.
