I have a p22.. But for whatever reason, i have had to move the rear sight all the way over to the right to get it to shoot on the paper at 50ft. the front sight does not appear to be damaged or bent. It is not adjustable..

Any thoughts??

Is the barrel filled with lead? (shooting rem thunderbolt can lead these suckers up badly) This usually just causes the bullets to spray the target in a buckshot like pattern, though, or even for the bullets to go downrange sideways.... [laugh]

Is the barrel nut on the end of the barrel tight? (If it's loose, it can cause a severe accuracy degredation.... )

I will take it apart again clean it really really really good and check it out again.. I thought it was clean before, But to eliminate that possibility at all..

there is no barrell nut, it is the 3.4"

and this was an indoor range.. not a lot of wind.

Unless they're making some new version I'm not aware of, there IS a barrel nut. There are a couple of recesses on the end of the barrel where the wrench fits to allow you to remove the nut and sleeve if you were going to convert it to the "5"? model.

could be, I will look again.. It never even occurred to me to play around with it.. Assumed it was just part of the barrell and not fool-around-with-able.
