Hello everyone,

Relatively new to the site. I know about the Range in Exeter and Chester, but I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share with me a place where I can go every once and a while to shoot pistols. I'm not a slob and consider it manditory to pick up my shells/targets/any other trash that I may bring. I also don't drink so I won't be that drunk guy causing problems.

I heard a rumor that there are some sandpits in Seabrook, but I hear that it's residence only. Other than the pay range all the way in Manchester, I don't really know anyplace I can go without a membership.

Any help is appreciated, thank you all for your time.

Closest place I can think of is Original Bob's in Salisbury...won't help unless you have a MA non-resident license though

Mass allows non-residents to carry to gun shows, clubs or hunting - does this not apply to shooting ranges?

No. and the "guida interpetation" invalidates most of the nonresident exemptions anyways.

The only range in that area that I know about is the shooting range at the sandpit next to the new water treatment plant off Rte. 107. I've never been there, but it has tables and benches, but no shade. The range people allow a friend of mine from MA to shoot there as long as he puts in four hours a month acting as a range officer, so it is not for residents only (he has missed some months and wasn't required to make it up).

I think that this is the place with contacts listed:
