Please recommend a good AR-15 sling

Moose, you want to attach it to a plate behind the castle nut. If you don't want to remove the tube you can buy clamp on sling adapters, but the price point is the same as a plate and the necessary wrench.

Hi Mike,

Unfortunately, the only sling attachment point is on the bottom rear on the M4 stock. I was thinking of getting a Magpul, or some other rail mounted sling attachment point and getting a two point sling that fits me better. My current one won't fit without being shortened by someone with a decent sewing machine. I'd rather not touch the gas tube, I was never trained how to do anything other than a field strip on this rifle.
