I use CFE 223 for my 223 loads, but suddenly it has become scarce. Indeed, many of the powders I use seem to be scarce, 4064, 4350, R15. Being from the People’s Republic of Massachusetts, a lot of out of state vendors won’t ship here without a birth certificate, house deed, and car title on file, and even then the shipping and hazmat fees make it punitively expensive. Who in NE Mass, or southern NH has a decent (and consistent) stock of powders?

Have you checked Glenn's ammo and reloading in Reading, Ma? May be worth a call. Home | glennsammo. 978-664-0588

The shortage is global.
Australia is a huge supplier of powder
As is some European countries.
What we need is production state side other than a handful of ball powders.
Small shops unless getting a distributor to deliver themselves are getting hit with haz mat ane shipping . Just missed getting in our bulk order before the shut down and shortage.
Could get 6 8lb jugs in one box and 50,000 primers in one box
When splitting orders between 5 or more reloaders its not hard to hit these numbers.
The 3 places we went squashed hazmat and shipping at X$ we did not have a hard time reaching that. I think the bulk deals are going to be dead for some time.
Wont shock me to see 8lb jugs vanish as a option either. I can squeeze out another year on powder then I dont know what Im going to do . Probably go back to shooting 22lr 98% of the time

I get my powder online but if you'd rather not, I'd add Al's in Derry NH. Some say he's difficult to deal with but apparently is well stocked.
Back in the very late 90s and into the mid 2000s we got in on the trailer sale that Al used to have.
More or less it was a big order and if you got in on it, you would save a good amount of money and we are buying everything from prime primers, and wadswads Powder to 👥 ammo

The group I was dealing with back then for whatever reason stop doing it. And while I was shooting trap at a regular interval, I just started ordering stuff through the club and we get deliveries twice a year.

I have not been to Al’s in a very long time.
I never really thought about how he really was or how he acted or behaved. All I know is he got us us stuff we gave him my money and everybody who left happy.
