PVFNRA 31 Guns in 31Days Raffle (One Day left)

NES, as usual, steps up with great support. Bump on the final day for a good cause. Odds of winning a new gun are around 1 in 33, and last year one of the NES members won two guns on the same ticket. Our FFL dealer might even trade a prize gun toward a different model, but that's up to them.
Last year the Massachusetts Friends of NRA committees gave out around $40,000 in grants to MA clubs and organizations to promote the shooting sports. There were grants for junior rifle teams, range development, clubhouse repairs, archery equipment, etc. One club was able to pave a handicapped parking area so that handicapped members, especially a teenager in a wheelchair, could get to shoot on the indoor range.

Can someone explain how the odds are 1:33?

There are 1000 possible numbers 0-999.

Wouldn't it be 1 in 1000

You have a 0.1% chance or 0.001 of getting your number picked drawn. Then on day two, you still have a 0.1% chance of getting chosen.

Adding up your daily percentage of winning for 31 days total gets you 3.1% chance or 1:32.25
