Haha not my pix. Was an AK guy years ago with a 10/63 and a SAM-7R but sold them both at massive profits... tho I'm eyeing to get back in the AK game with the 300BLK Krink in yummy redwood they got back in stock. Not needed for semi-auto IMO.
And refinish your dresser.

Right now I'm just running 300BLK on an 8 inch suppressed AR pistol. Would be pretty cool to have an AR dressed up like an AK with a can on it tho. 7.62x39's "cheap to shoot" days are gone aren't they? Why would you waste 300blk on that?
“Dongs” are Romanian or GTFO.I've owned many AKs, and the only one that's ever had a dong is my AMD-65. I'm a traditionalist, so it extends forward. It's a fantastically comfortable AK to shoot.
"Regular" AKs don't benefit from dongs, and I think they look stoopid no matter which way they lean.
Hungarian AMD65 has a “reverse pistol grip”
Why tho? Every high speed operator guy says you need a little one on an AR. What's different about the AK that goes the other way?

Looks RPKish to me. Look at the receiver
It actually makes some sense. Why would you waste 300blk on that?
It actually makes some sense.
Cheap surplus 7.62x39 is essentially gone.
So you might as well get something that is readily available on the commercial market.
Supersonic .300 blk is ballistically pretty close to 7.62x39, so it's going to be close to the same gun.
Of the AKs I've owned, I've always had .223s. So maybe I'm not the best person to talk to about this. Ha.
.65 a round for 300 BLACK isn't bad. Especially for this 110gr VMAX stuff that shoots very very straight. Couldn't replicate anywhere near the same level of accuracy with a x39 round from my SKS.There's a ton of x39 for sale here but its the same price as cheap AR ammo. About $11/20.
The prototype had an AR gas block and tube feeding a long stroke piston. I heard the russians did something similar with the groza. Is this what they put into production?
RPK goes on the loft above the living room on sandbags. AK or krink in the shower.
This. I hate AK's for many reasons and aesthetics is just one of them. It’s threads like this that make me feel good about being an AR guy!
Depends how deep tou stacked it when you considered it cheap.Right now I'm just running 300BLK on an 8 inch suppressed AR pistol. Would be pretty cool to have an AR dressed up like an AK with a can on it tho. 7.62x39's "cheap to shoot" days are gone aren't they?
Its an nhm91Still is an RPK type receiver
