The stock has a split on one side, I'd like to try to recondition it and see what it looks like. If not I'll need a stock.
There are several parts sources including cmp. You can spend some money and time trying to make it "correct" for its receiver date ? What I found online, looks like the receiver serial number #142xxxx dates to March 1943 production.
wont hurt value much but might not get what you put into it back.
