Well title says it all, I have read about many clubs, MRA, WSA, Harvard, and Shirley. Well Im looking for a club for myself but I transfer in 9 months so I know one of those clubs is out I cant wait for 6 months for a membership. I want something thats not packed all the time and that is a good place to bring the kid too to shoot. I shoot mainly Pistols and my 30-30 hunting rifles. There some clubs having their meeting tommorrow so im trying to decide tonight which club I want to go to. I am active duty military so a discount would be nice. Im not paying 300 dollars for a club to use for 9 months or less. 150 is probably the most I will spend. Im kinda looking at shirley right now I dont mind the drive out there its actually a nice drive. I do shoot quite a bit and will get involved as much as I can (gives me an excuse to get away from pregnant wife) Anyway any suggestion would be nice. Also the hours they are open is a bonus. I work early and if its a close range I would like to go before 0630. I guess that could be far fetched but im from alaska and am used to shooting in my back yard.
