Reciprocity with Maine ???

I read on another forum that Maine is actively seeking to establish reciprocity with states having similar requirements. I was assuming that NH would be a logical choice, but now have read that NH is not amoung those states being considered[sad2] Can anyone confirm or deny pending talks with Maine?

It is extremely unlikely as the amendment to the current law (which looks to pass) requires that reciprocal states have equal or higher requirements to obtain a license. If I remember correctly NH does not require proof of training, which ME does.
