That hands victory to em! Why make it any easier, we are still ahead of NY.
No, we're not really. We're like one tiny increment "not as bad" as
NY, and that is only in terms of having a better licensing
system. In NY it seems to be county based, which means that the
geographical area that can be screwed over is much larger than it is
in MA when you have a bad chief.
Either is highly undesireable. MA is one of the bottom 10 states in the
US for gun ownership, period. I can easily defend anyone's choice
to get the hell out of here. It's easy to say "stay" if you have an
A/ALP in your hand, but try telling a person to stay here if all they can
get is a B, (after submitting doctors letters, a DNA test, and submitted
several reference lettters from high ranking persons) is kind of
difficult. And the level of opression is going to seem even worse
to a person who hasn't had to deal with it from day one. My roommate
ended up getting a house in NH and decided not to resettle in MA, even
though he used to live here a long time ago. (He had moved to PA and is
now back.). He had no idea the laws were so f*cked up
here.
