My (recently deceased) dog was a rescue from down south that was found tied to a fence post along some railroad tracks. Count me among those that naturally dislike people and love animals, except deer...ill kill the shit out of them

Yep, mine too. But he liked pheasant & upland birds. (Sure do miss him)

A few years back, my kid brought home as stray, when he was working in Boston. Had a collar (no tag), that was wrapped under one foreleg, and it was all dug in and inflamed.

I told him, "No way!" he said, "Mom said it was OK."

Turned out to be a very good cat.
