Ruger MKIII or ISSC-M22

Ok, if you've got the pointy piece out 90 degrees from the grip the MSH should come out. There is nothing holding it at this time other than just it being snug.

I'd suggest you remove the grip panels and see if you can get a dowel in there. If you aren't comfortable doing this, bring it back to the place where you bought it.

I might also try pulling on the msh while giving the back of the grip a good whack with a leather mallet. The inertia and shock might get it out.

Where are you located? I'm in the Old Saybrook area. If you are close let me know. I'm going shooting tomorrow in Chester (private land) to test out some new handloads. I'd be happy to take a look.

I bought a mkiii 22/45 last month and love it. I highly suggest buying "the ultimate cliploader". I can load a magazine in seconds without using my thumb to compress the spring. I've already put over 2k rounds through it, very few failures, and getting much better at disassembly and cleaning.

I second the cliploader I have used mine for quite a few years now without problems. I would also add it works for the Browning Buckmarks as well.

Okay that's what I thought but I swear after pulling the pointy pics out the msh seems like it is stuck on something. I got frustrated and out it away for the night last night but will try again and may take you up on your offer I will let you know how I make out

Let me know. I didn't make it out shooting today. Am probably going Wed, mid day so I don't get in the way of deer hunters.

Alright I got it, a rap on the back with my rubber/plastic hammer and got the MSH to pivot out at which point I was able to get it disassembled from there. Thanks to all and to the video that used the reference "cheese" and "dingle" IMO that was the most useful video of all of the ones I saw. Love the pistol but a huge pain in the a$$.
