Ruger Old Army

I'm interested in buying a Ruger Old Army 45 cal. Does anyone own one? Midway has them for $589 for SS. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Got one.
They work well and are accurate.
They cost at least twice what a decent Colt or Remington copy would cost.
They are worth it but if you are just looking for something to plink with...?

Blue Northern in Ayer has one in SS that's unfired (I think) for $150 less.

I have 2, on blued and one stainless. They are the best shooting cap & ball revolvers I've ever shot.
