"Firearms: In light of recent events at Board meetings the committee unanimously approved two changes to existing ordinances…. Change the penalties referenced in ordinance 4161(b) from $100 to $250 and $500 to $1,000, and Alderman Dress so moved. Motion was seconded by Alderman Robinson, and passed 10-0. There was going to be a motion to Include in ordinance 4611 the wording “all municipally owned buildings”
But the wording was so broad the committee felt more research was in order. City schools and City parks did meet the criteria according to Attorney Costello."
