Safari Club International (“SCI”) respectfully gives notice of our intent to sue the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the newly enacted, unconstitutional restrictions on the use
of firearms for hunting. “An Act Modernizing Firearm Laws,” H.B. 4885, effective October 23,
2024, contains provisions that effectively prohibit the right to bear arms in Massachusetts by
lawful nonresident hunters.
