I saw one of these at the Marlboro show and really liked it. Not enough to plunk down the msrp of $520 the dealer wanted, but I will end up getting one if I can find one at a local shop for cheaper. If not there's always the auction sites.

The stock, bolt handle, barrel, and finish all add up to a pretty neat looking and feeling rifle.

Ray, I picked up a Savage Arms 93F in .22wmr a month ago and love this little gun. The TR looks awesome, but I don't see them around. If you do pick up one and want some nice 10 round mags for it try these:

They are better than OEM (which are impossible to find) cheaper (buy the 4 pak for around $100 shipped)
and feed flawlessly. and MADE IN AMERICA...

the rimfire savages are among the best imo, Sportsman on here has one that will shoot easily under a dime at 100. I know, i did it the first time behind the darn thing!

I've owned 2 Savage rifles in 17hmr and sold them both. They worked fine but just weren't exactly what I was looking for. This rifle on the other hand does it for me as far as looks and feel.

Nice rifle.....if they had offered that in left hand, I wouldn't be converting one of those Boyd's stocks to a 93r17L. I really didn't like the base stock, even after I put an adjustable cheek piece on.
