Really considering getting one of these. Anyone here have one and does anyone know if there are any 10 round mags available for it from aftermarket manufacturers?
These guys make a 9 round mag (mag extension?) for the 308 guns, I don't know if they would work for a 223 gun, but can't see why not. I am hoping to treat myself to a Savage Scout for my birthday next month, if so, I will be giving one of these a try.
If I get one it'll be in 308. I'm not sure what the material is on the precision carbine, most likely metal as it's not one of the cheaper model 10 rifles.
Probably better if I email them and ask if they'll fit.
I'd really like to get the 10 FCP-SR and might just save up enough for that model.

I just got an FCP-SR, and though I haven't shot it yet, I really like the rifle. Even in stock form, it should be a .5-.75 MOA gun. I think the precision carbine would have to have the bottom metal changed out to take a big mag. Save up for the FCP-SR, it takes AI mags(5 or 10 rds), and is ready for a can
Sent from my phone....which isn't really a phone anymore, it's a computer on my pocket
I have not shot it yet, saving for an optic that is always out of reach, overall I like the feel and have talked to a few long range shooters that tell me it is a great gun, you are welcome to borrow it and see what you think but you will have to put your own glass on it, I have an EGW 20MOA base on it already
I have one Ray, Handy little rifle. I got it topped off with a Leuold Mk2 scope. The accustock is a big improvement over the old tupperware stocks. The accutrigger is nice and it's plenty accurate for me. Spare mages are pricey and hard to find sometimes. I would definitely buy one again. If you would like to try before you buy shoot me a PM.
