SBR in Plymouth?

I'm thinking of filing the paperwork to register one of my preban AR lowers as an sbr, and I'm wondering how Chief Pomeroy handles these requests. I'd rather not waste my time if he's a definite no, and maybe go another route. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

Check out ar15.com in the Class 3 section. There are a few posts on going the NFA trust route, which doesn't require fingerprings or CLEO signature. Don't know if there are any other MA-specific hurdles, but it gets around the big roadblock most folks have.

I didn't try for the SBR as I had an acquaintance who did and was denied.
