Shooting at Aerial Targets with a pistol

Hi all,

Just ran across your fine site today.

I am a newbie here, so please excuse this sort of abrupt post.

I am an advocate of Point Shooting.

But I would think that shooting a pistol into the air wouldn't be that great of an idea...

Only because bullets can fly for a mile or two from where you shoot.

You shouldn't shoot your pistol in your basement either...

The OP's video uses airsoft pistols (plastic BBs).

Worth pointing out nevertheless Cpher!

I've been contemplating getting an airsoft pistol but I'm afraid I'd develop some bad habbits with it and mistake one of my real pistols for it someday. That said, I'll probably buy one next time I'm at Dick's. They just call my name from the glass case!

Yea, after I posted I went back and read that he was using Airsoft. Didn't watch the video yet, but I think that airsoft would make a good training tool.

You can do some "in the house" training without putting a crapload of holes in your walls...and maybe shooting the neighbor's house as well.
