How do they get around the import ban you may ask? Well, they are in the process of opening a factory right here in the ole U.S of A. The rifle will have a folding stock, 1:7 barrel, and the parts will be interchangeable with the original 1980's guns.

Meh... Surprised that they put the sling mount on the barrel itself. Seems like a bad idea to me. I could see some retro rifle fans going after them. Just not my bag.

Daewoo K1 was my first rifle purchase (and it’s what’s shown in the rooftop Korean picture), from none other than flotter. I then went on and got my variants of K2. They are fun at range and I trust them if I have to depend on them. I even bought the hard to come by modern rails imported from SK a few years ago to upgrade them.

It makes me happy because it means that I will now have parts support for the Daewoos that I own.

A $1200 MSRP piston rifle that had 30 year military service in one of the most hostile battle lines in the world, will dwarf the PSA ARs at similar price ranges.

Me too. I do still want a K2 to go with my K1 though if anyone has one they want to sell for a reasonable price.
