you guys have been my best source of good information so let it continue. What signs of overpressure should I be looking for when loading 9 mm? My loads are always well under The maximum but what should I look for as I increase those pressures?
The second question regards crimping. How can I identify whether or not a crimp is too tight or too light?
Any input would be greatly appreciated and thanks a lot my friends

I measure the crimp with a caliper. Mine is set up to be just under the max dimension for the case mouth (I think .380 for 9mm luger). I also check every cartridge with the case gauge.

I used to set the crimp really tight, and had bulging cases as detailed in EC's links. It would also flatten the nose of the bullet as it seated, especially with plated bullets. After easing up on the crimp, I started getting much higher yields, with no performance decrease. So don't over-crimp.
