Some old school photos

I will defer to martin as he is an active collector. I have not added anything in four years but just the opposite I have reduced by well over 60%.

Priority's change....[rolleyes]

and most likely 100% better than most, I enjoy the posts

From Oct 10th 1967 in Dak To to March 1st at Kontum City we were in constant contact with two regiments of the NVA 1st Div and VC B26 and 442 Bn. All but 14 days I was in hospital, where I turned 21, with mortar wounds and lost over 30 pounds. In the picture I'm wearing bits of uniforms as all of my personnel gear was destroyed along with one M14 and one M60. By May 1968 I was one of 21 original members of 121 man company. Welcome to adulthood..LOL

Nice old Webley!

Here is one I had and I think it was in .457

I would have to go back and dig up the info. But this little jewel was so well thought of they shipped the whole lot off to the RCMP as a bad show and let them shoot them selves n the lag. LOL

I posted 400 pcs of new 455 brass here last spring in 50 pcs bags.

Those are lovely Webley revolvers. I missed the boat several times over the years to add them mostly because I was waiting to inherit my Mothers set. they most likely ended up under some gang bangers car seat in Lowell. I know a man with amazing set of them in Tucson but he would never let them go.

My old school photo. I did grade 1 and 2 here, then we moved. The old Franklin School in Wakefield MA was a grade 1-8 grammar school. It's elderly housing now.

Well, you did ask for old school photos. [smile]

Now we're talking, Gentlemen!

DWM 1909, 2 DWM 1915, DWM 1916 and an Erfurt 1918

Now you're just showing off, again, Juergen. :)

Give me some time to catch up. This is only my first Luger. I need more.

MJ1, I think you may have some competition in the Luger area.

Do you have any idea what the engraving represents on your Luger?

Can't help it[smile]
Unfortunately they are the only Lugers I have from the Imperial era, besides the Navy P.04/1917 and the two
Artilleries. However, the 'Alpha' of my meager collection of P.08's resides in this drawer; the 1909 DWM
is a so-called 'first contract', the 14,170th ever built.
The unit mark is from Infanterieregiment 98 (Metz/Lorraine), 5. Kompanie, Waffe No. 1 - likely the 1st Sgt's.

"Omega" resides in the next higher drawer which is home to some Mauser Lugers - a byf 42 out of the n-block.
Only 775 have been made for the Wehrmacht after her and production was ceased.
