Spanish Fly makeover PICs!

This is a members Ballester- Molina" which needed some upgrades and refinishing. After a complete breakdown, new sights were added to the slide. In the rear is a Harrison Design "Retro" rear sight. Up front is a custom made sight from an MGW blank. A new custom fit "National Match bushing was added after the slide and frame fir was tightened up. The original barrel was retained and is very accurate. The original yellow maple grips were toned down with ebony stain. All the metal pieces were refinished to allow for a traditional hot blue by TW in Florida.The owner wanter it to be a "sleeper" on the range when he shot with his friends. Nice sleeper!

Holy crap, I used to own that gun. It never, and I mean never, looked as beautiful as that. What a great job. Now it's built like a tank, and it also looks fabulous.

I heard a rumor that this pistol was going to get some new micarta grip panels....
