I picked up a Walther PPQ in 9mm and a Buckmark URX Stainless .22 this weekend and took them both to the range yesterday morning.
I was interested in the PPQ due to the hype over it's light, crisp trigger (which is absolutely true) and reputation for great ergos (which is also true). Admittedly I'm a pretty craptastic shooter, but I did have a few eye-opening bulls eyes. For a poly 9mm it's solid. The German-style lever mag release was intuitive and easy to use. I've read complaints that the PPQ can be snappy, but the recoil impulse (to me) was directly upwards with very little side-to-side movement, so it was very easy to bring it back down on target. I ran ~100 115 grain target loads through it with no issues.
The Buckmark shoots like a dream, not much to say there other than I came away very impressed and excited that it was mine, mine, mine. Yes, my precious! I ran ~100 rounds of WallyWorld bulk ammo through it with little drama (one dud). It's a lifetime keeper.
So a big thumbs up for both of 'em so far!
