Stripers Down the cape

Took a charter with some buddies from a local fishing forum and we had a blast catching stripers all day long. Many shorts and a few keepers. We used Captain Dave and his outfit from Best Charter Fishing on Cape Cod. All fish were caught on light line tackle which made it really fun. We went out of Setuit Harbor East Northside Marina, Sesuit Harbor, East Dennis, MA.

We will be using them again in September for our fall fishing get together.

Oh, nice fish! I have not wet a line once this year, its pretty depressing.

100 or so yards form the low tide sand bar. We were fishing in 12-20 feet of water, but guys 100 yards from us were standing next to their Kayaks. It was an awesome day.

Fall is my favorite time for fishing stripers on the Cape. There are some fat ass keepers to be caught, and then duck season is not too far behind.
