Suggestions on places to buy Marlin 795 .22 (cheapest)

I searched and found threads from a year or two ago with people who managed to get these for $125 or less. There doesn't seem to be a rebate at this time but the cheapest I could find in a store around me was Dick's for $149.99. If you have any other suggestions please factor in shipping or a $35 transfer fee. I live in Metrowest MA.

I picked one up at dicks a few weeks ago for 129 or so because they gave me full credit for a pair of golf shoes I returned and I felt bad. i also had a rewards certificate and a coupon for $10 towards a cheap scope.
I bought a value box of cci 22 ammo too. If not for the golf shoes and coupons, I would have spent a couple extra dollars and supported a sponsor or a local gun shop. I'm all for value, but why not support a local stocking dealer?

I would but I recently bought a Sig Sp2022 from a local gun shop about 5 minutes away and am a poor May college graduate lol.

Wait for Dick's to have a sale. I picked up mine last Christmas for $110 and they had a mail in rebate for a $25 gift card on top of that. It's been a great rifle. It's the basic black plastic stock and blued barrel.

when it comes to buying these cheap rifles cheaper, you have to really check Dicks,cabela's,bass pro often. Also go to manufactures web site or google "marlin rebates". I always ask for sporting goods gift cards for gifts...my buddy bought one last Xmas also and after all was said in down with rebates,coupons,sales ect ect He walked out the door with gun,scope,ammo for under 125.00.
Other things to consider to make a few extra bucks.
What I offer only will apply if you PAY you CC bill off every month so absolutely no interest is applied.
My CC gives me 2% back on all purchases. I buy almost everything needed for the home+ my weekly gas with this card. I get aprox 50$/month cash back not a lot but its 50 bucks that would have been gone other wise. 300 bucks to date......bought some reloading supplies.

I just wish we had pawn shops around here that sold guns. I hear there are a lot of nice Marlin 60's there for low money. Most gunshops should have quite a few used ones as well, they made millions of them after all.
