Don't get all wound up over the hi-cap mag issue unless hi-cap is crictical to you.
Mag capacity aside, Glock vs M&P is a 'Ford vs Chevy' thing unless comfort is important, in which case you'll like the M&P (after getting
the MA trigger tuned up).
Keep in mind that virtually all 1911s are only 8 rounds and those are carried by countless people. And don't forget the j-frame folks who are fine with 5 rounds.
