Yup. It’s even more nefarious than that. I unlock my safe and take a gun out. Walk across the room and lay it on the table to clean it. Walk back across the room to lock the safe back up. Is the gun under my control at that moment???

I told everyone in our house that if you need to call EMS/Fire, make sure the damn safes are locked and no guns are out before you do anything! I don't care if I'm bleeding to death lol.

Same here , certain doors are to be shut and locked.
