I have mixed feelings about this...

Yes, it was a thought crime and he was lured and entrapped.

However, if not for this shooting - what if he would have tried harder and actually met up with a real child and raped her?

If that happened, he deserves death.

On the other hand, what if he would have never hurt a real child EVER?

Does he deserve to be killed, anyway?
