Sounds like a good one to adopt. As a term, "gun control" is the fulcrum of polarization - those who hear the words have already made up their mind pro or anti so that hearing the words serves only to stir their emotions, not their thoughts. The term "victim disarmament," whether new or not, is relatively unused in the general population; as such, it would more likely get one's attention (at least for most, I think) and hopefully hold it long enough for them to think about what "gun control" really is.

This is why you see the "buzzwords" of the lefties and antis in constant use in their rantings.
