If you're going to order a decent amount over a years time ts is great with the $99 plan. Free shipping and 8% discount. Easily pays for itself. I order often because of the free shipping part.I'd love to buy in bulk online, but (1) I can't afford to drop $1000 at a time, and (2) when you add in shipping costs, smaller orders aren't any cheaper than local places.
As for the Mill.. I get there when I can, but it's an hour away, if you want to talk about time and gas.
I know.. I guess I just don't shoot enough.. was thinking of joining with a few friends and placing bulk orders for all of us under one account, but that idea never got off the ground...If you're going to order a decent amount over a years time ts is great with the $99 plan. I probably shoot more than the average gun guy but nothing like some of the people on here. I'm also a hoarder.I know.. I guess I just don't shoot enough.. was thinking of joining with a few friends and placing bulk orders for all of us under one account, but that idea never got off the ground...
This. I can't understand why anyone would buy ammo at walmart after the moment they quite obviously jumped the shark years ago. It was fun while it lasted but them days are over. Way over.

All you guys seriously waste time (both driving there and waiting for the guy to find the key) and gas to buy ammo at Walmart when you can buy this shit online? Or visit shops at the mill who have good pricing?

Almost everyone has better prices than Walmart.
I pulled that stunt with the ZQI ss109 at that store. I almost needed help pushing the cart out the door. They were selling unrestricted……I saw a lady in the Westfield store buy all the 38 special ammo in the case and in the back, 1000s of roundsB
Yeah I hear ya. I’m an hour away from the mill as well.I'd love to buy in bulk online, but (1) I can't afford to drop $1000 at a time, and (2) when you add in shipping costs, smaller orders aren't any cheaper than local places.

Same at North Adams, but they are still selling MuzzleloadersWent into Fairhaven Store today for some Coleman Fuel and saw the sign on ammo cabinet that they will no longer be selling ammunition at this store.
And NES will rush to support Walmart ... only to cry again in a few years when they stop selling again.Walmart plans to put ammo back on the shelf after pausing sales because of new Mass. gun law
Walmart stopped selling ammunition at its stores in Massachusetts after a wide-ranging gun law took effect earlier this month but a company spokesperson said bullets will soon return to shelves aft…www.bostonherald.com
Even disregarding their membership (as discussed above) with TSUSA, cases always ship free. That means right now you could have 1000 rounds of brass case 9mm on its way to you for $245+tax or 2000 22LR for $120+tax...I'd love to buy in bulk online, but (1) I can't afford to drop $1000 at a time, and (2) when you add in shipping costs, smaller orders aren't any cheaper than local places.
Only have to go as far south as Connecticut to buy ammo at WalmartPlenty of ammo on the Walmart shelves down south. This is one the the smaller stores.
