So I had a lot of jamming with my Para warthog. Looking for advice of what is going on.

I cleaned it before heading to the range and lubed the hell out of it (wondering if this was my problem)

I was getting stove piping of live rounds not empty casings. I would shoot one or two rounds and then the I would get a jam with a live round stove piped. I do not believe I am limp wristing the firearm either. I am getting a bit frustrated with this POS. I hate to sell any hand gun at this time. But to me right now it is useless, and I think I won't get near enough back for it. Any advise besides "dump it " appreciated

Also stove piping of live rounds scares the hell out of me

Lots of folks with Warthogs seem to have similar problems. You could try taking it to a good 1911 gunsmith like Greg Derr, but honestly I think that would be spending good money after bad.

Post number #7 if the link doesn't take you right to it.

[puke] Man, talk about a nightmare!!

I've owned 2 Para's. C6 LDA, and P12 Limited. While I didn't have nearly the amount of problems described by you, they still weren't reliable enough to be considered for carry. So I got rid of them. In cases like that, I trade them in to a dealer instead of doing a FTF. Yeah I'm losing out on money, but I wouldn't feel comfortable selling a gun like that to someone who may be relying on it to save their life.

I'm leaning with 45C on this as well. Does this happen with both/all mags if you have more than one? Is this a new issue?

All three magazines. Same thing

At first I was having FTF on the last round but that seemed to work itself out. I would then get a empty case stove pipe once in about 50 rounds. I put about 150 rounds through it at the pumpkin shoot with cheap ammo and had no problems after the first magazine (had two empty case stove pipes)

This last outing was simply horrible. Shooting Remington. Live round stove pipes about 2 per mag, and the round jamming just before the barrel on a couple. I put about 50 rounds through it not having one mag go without a jam....

I thinking of a dealer trade for a wheel gun at this point

I had a P!2 and it was the biggest POS ever made. Would not feed anything. It was made before the lifetime warranty was offed. They never fixed it and there costumer service was horrible. Live and learn I guess. Hope they make it right for you.
