Friend gifted me a 16" and 10" garand bayonets... was stoked a sold all mine years ago.. problem is both are missing the locking mechanisms.. anyone know where to find original button, lever and spring assemblies so can get them 100?

Not the first time I have seen this question. You may need to buy a couple of donor bayonets. DuPage had parts recently and sold out quickly. You might keep your eye on this page and see if they come back in stock:

Ended up with Sarco repro repair parts. One dropped right in no fitting, other still requires a lil fitting but least the lock on ect now.
Thanks. 1 is a 1943 PAL, other is a 1942 O.L.. maybe one day I'll get them refinished to make them look good again.
