I went to respond to someone looking to buy something this morning but was told I had "insufficient privileges" to make a comment. Since I am a paying member what exactly am I paying for? Perhaps it's time to cut the cord!

What were you trying to reply to? Some threads are in subforums only the OP can post to, like WTS ads and dealer threads.

send them a direct message, the for sale threads would get bad with people pissing back and forth about prices being too high, like the morons trying to sell 3rd gen glocks for $1200

Mouse over the user name, then select "Start a private conversation"

It wasn't in response to anything "for sale", but rather someone saying they were looking for something. Whatever.....

You were doing alrite right up until your inner Karen came out threatening to leave before you even waited for a reply.

According to the system, you’ve been a member since 2007? This is the first time you are trying to respond to a purchasing ad and realizing that you can’t actually do that? Send a. Private message.
The irony here is before you joined, probably 10+ years ago you could post replies in the classifieds.
