What choke should i go with? 18in barrel

What choke is best for an 18in barrel on and 870 that is mainly a defense/"tactical" (hate that term) shotgun. I mainly shoot buckshot but want to shoot slugs and its between a barrel with fixed improved , modified or cylinder bore.

Not concerned about patterns in close distances. But I still wana shoot rifled slugs

The 870 covers a lot of ground with a modified choke...."rifled slugs" I cant believe this term is still alive?
