Hi,

The classified forum clearly says not to post items without prices. Well, I have no clue what these are worth. Can't even remember that far back what we all paid for them. I have a friend who's interested in both; and if not maybe a member here would like one. Bought these just before my girl was born; life got hectic I mostly shot international and bullseye since then, and they've been sitting in my safe since. Just want to do right by the buyer and myself.

Two sets of matching in that the uppers and lowers both have serial numbers, from this old group buy.

They are on the "books" in MA as FA10s were filed (though as you can see caliber and barrel length were left blank).

thanks,
Chuck

Pre Maura lowers we’re going for $500ish to people outside the know.

I would think $300-$500ish these days. But I stacked lowers so deep I can’t imagine being able to sell that for that much.

The various NES lowers are kind of a cool historical thing that's part of NES lore, linking back to the "founding" member base here.
I can't remember who I sold my original NES lower too, but it was cash and carry outside of Collectors Gallery a long ass time ago.. I actually bought it FTF a few years prior from that dude who owned a few liquor stores, really nice guy but I can't remember his real name or screen name. He slipped and banged his head on ice in his driveway the day we were supposed to meet at his home.. He gave the lower to his wife (because an ambulance took him to the hospital )and told her to hang around and wait because some guy was coming by to pick it up.

The dude told his wife to hang around and wait for me instead of following him to the f'n emergency room for a $75 lower!

Good old days before any sort of feedback system and grifters where everyone was just cool and wanted to help each other out.

I think that you are referring to jdubois. Real cool guy that disappeared off the forum many years ago.

Uppers:

They can be bought anywhere and are not restricted.

There is no Mass premium on uppers.

Some uppers are rare and expensive like Noveske and KAC.

If you google the upper you want you should find some distributors.

Price will really be dependent on SCOTUS movement.

If Snope is either granted cert (prices go down) or denied cert (prices go up).

But if it just keeps getting kicked down the road, things stay stagnant.

Current “preban” lowers are now way more plentiful than pre-94 lowers so they are not at all worth the $1,400 prices that pre-94 lowers peaked at.

I would say 8/1 lowers currently are worth between $200-$600 depending on brand. Definitely a WAG though.

Too bad can't buy a truck of $32 Andersons and suddenly turn to $600 street price once you cross the MA border

Anybody who buys a 8/1 lower in Mass would be wise to verify the serial number to make sure it was made before 8/1.
