My favorite revolver? That's a tough call...
Well, there's the Snubbie from Hell™:
Smith & Wesson model 360PD - a .357 Magnum j-framed snub-nosed revolver. Hurts like hell to shoot full-power .357 Magnum through it, but at 12 ounces it comes with me the most...
There's the first gun I ever bought:
That's a Ruger Security Six .357 Magnum with 6" barrel. I've put easily 6-7,000 rounds through this gun, from the cheapest .38 special wadcutters to full-bore screamin' 110 grain .357 Magnums.
Here's my smallest revolver:
North American Arms mini-.22LR. A five-shot, single-action .22LR revolver that fits into the "lighter pocket" of most pairs of jeans.
But my absolute favorite would have to be this beauty:
Smith & Wesson model 17-4 .22LR, 8 3/8" barrel. This gun is an absolute
DREAM to shoot. The weight of the K-frame absorbs the already-inconsequential recoil, the long barrel balances the gun out perfectly, and the target hammer and trigger make single-action shooting an act very near perfection.
And double action ain't too shabby, either...
