I was wondering if anyone knew of a public range near Bangor, ME? I recently moved to the area and am looking for a place to shoot. I know there are gun clubs, but I'm not going to be shooting enough to justify the membership fees. I have heard something about target shooting in gravel pits but don't know the laws up here. Is it legal? Any specific gravel pits?

I don't think I am going to shoot enough to justify their $100 annual fee. I am on a pretty tight budget and just don't have the funds. Are you a member there?
There is a gun club in Orrington near Kings Mtn.
