I know sometimes the responsibilities are misleading/inflated, but $73-$105k? That is ridiculously low for this area for something of that nature.

I expect whatever they build to reflect the "resources" that they are earmarking for it.

This for sure...and likely a pols kid or something as well......for sure they will make sure they are on board with gun control.

And if you read the description....this is a do nothing job, on top of supervising other do nothing jobs they will be hiring for this person to supervise. The only real supervision will be making sure all the employees kick back a certain percentage of their salaries to the politicians and govenor in the form of campaign donations. And once a quarter or so providing a report of how the private contractor is doing. This bill just created another hack harbor....

This whole job is just a figure head overseeing working with an outside private contractor who will do the real work. That firm will also kick back donations for the contract with the state....and that firm is probably already owned by some politicians kid or family.

This is the model for any state program....and the biggest is probably the MBTA........Huge gobs of do nothing jobs overseeing Keolis, who actually runs the transit system.
