Worcester MA gun "buyback"??

they'll get 30 shit guns from old people and say they're helping bring violence down. Of course, there will be one orig 1911 or 1939 Luger
But it gets them "off the streets!" I see guns walking down the road all the time...

You're supposed to bring the guns "in a plain plastic or paper bag" per the article...gives these vibes

It's not about the money, it's about the photo-ops and PR.

That gun that doesn't work that some people here think they are getting over by getting $50 for, they(cops.gov) know that it's a POS.. But that gun of yours that doesn't work setting on a table with a bunch of other crap with the little sheriffs badge and banner all arranged nicely.. Thats a cheap price to pay for propaganda.. Don't fall for it, keep your guns and destroy them yourselves if they are no good, don't give them the sense of satisfaction and moral victory.

$2k and they are all over every New England news station for 48 hours grandstanding.. Probably in their yearly advertising budget.

Yup, some old widow who's husband brought it back and she's going to get ripped off for a shitty gift card where as she could have sold it and paid the heat bill for months if she knew what it was worth.
Of course none of the "Hero's " running it will tell her.

I went to the gun buy back back in 2012. But it's not what you think I had a bunch of junk .22 rifles of some worthless obscure brand. I don't remember what it is was I checked the google before.. the rifles were rusted and the action well seized.

My grandfather told me to get rid it as he was moving and wanted more room in the safe.

Anyhow they gave me some gift cards for price chopper $50. I then went and brought $50 worth of ammo and used the $50 gift card for groceries. I went into Worcester Police headquarters and they had bins of guns. Mostly trash...

There was this gray haired Lieutenant in uniform my guess he was the Official on duty for the patrol Division that Saturday morning (as he wasn't checking anyone in). He was digging through the plastic bin like it was Legos (most of it was just trash and pellet guns).. his face lights up that's an H&R .38! He took the gun and disappeared.

Harrington and Richardson was a large gun manufacturer in Worcester most of the factory is where Walgreens is on Park avenue.. they have long been out of business the brand owned by some other company.

Outside of liberal cities we never see gun buy backs down here in NC.

I guess it's a way to get rid of old junk. I couldn't just throw those .22 rifles away they had serial numbers etc. Knowing my luck I would have lost my LTC for that.

Can we get some guys from The Mill to setup a table outside in the parking lot and buy anything worthwhile before it gets junked

I believe all FFL business in Massachusetts has to be in a commercial location. I held a sign outside the Waltham one in 2014 offering to buy guns for cash. The POS detective from Waltham, a dumbass named Joseph brooks and a few other goons harassed myself and @sbi and threatened us.

That loser brooks called my town’s licensing officer to whine about me. My town’s licensing didn’t give a shit what brooks said,

H&R was owned by Remington. I believe PSA bought them in the bankruptcy sale.

Do you know how many Matchbox cars had given their lives so that Bryco can provide quality arms to the poor? Show some respect! lol

Freedom called. It wants to know why you hate it.

Anybody that participates in a gun "buyback" for any reason is a freedom hater, and the dumb ones don't even realize why.
