Saw coverage on ShootingUSA this week of Allen "Aldo" Zitta and the variant AR15s that he builds. These have a recoil spring atop the barrel thru which the gas tube runs, thus not needing a buttstock; in fact some of his first creations were pistols dubbed the Master Blaster which he used in The Masters competitions.

Am wondering if any listers have any experience with his rifles?

I used to see some at Alpha Arms in Milford, but that was 4+ years ago. Very exotic-looking creations.

I have the show on DVR and watched it this morning. What I was wondering is if you can take a pre ban receiver and put his upper assemble and folder\ telescoping stock. They sell it as a kit (for like $1200). I seem to think that would be legal??? You would just have to use your exsisting pre ban mags!
