10/22 build thread

Thats the issue with Tac Sol, they recommend CCI Mini-Mags only.

Aloha

On what model? I have the TacLite 22lr upper and it runs just fine on SV. I did have one problem with my feed ramp.....actually had a chip out of it. They sent out prepaid shipping label fixed it and returned it in a,week..... I have shot nothing but SV ammo
To date. Aguila extra, wolf match, Eley match, federal gold medal match, surplus rem 22lr from cmp, CCI SV and even some 40+ year old Russian Junoir ammo.

For their 10/22 barrels and their Pac-lite and Tac-lite (Ruger MkIII and Browning Buckmark), the literature recommends CCI Mini-Mags for best functionality, accuracy, and barrel life.

Aloha

I see.....well maybe I will reconsider. I much rather have it cycle with SV. Better yet I wish these guys could make these 22s run on shorts, longs and LR. Like my remington speedmaster.

I'd take a look at the paperwork with the AR. I don't have any experience with those barrels. Might be different.

Don't even know where the slip is at the moment. Might have been trashed in the water leak few years ago.....pretty sure it was not to specific on ammo use.

anyone have these? They look nice to me. I've been tempted to spend a metric ton of money on my 10-22 but restrained myself when I realised its a 200$ rifle.

if I lived in nh though I would definitely budget for a suppressor though-I can't think of any better additions actually.
Firesights are pretty nice. I prefer tech sights on a 10/22, but those look nice, too.

I love the look of the full stock Mannlicher style stock. I just can't say "I've got a Mannlicher at home" without laughing.
My step-dad has a model 77 international in 30-06. Normally I don't much care for the Mannlicher stocks, but the ones Ruger does are pretty sharp.

I actually bought a gun parts kit mannlicher 10/22 on gunbroker (everything but the receiver). Just need to get around to buying a receiver for it, can't decide if i want to just buy a basic receiver or go for one of the aftermarket ones

No pics, but I currently have a Gemtech MIST-22 Integrally Suppressed Take Down 10/22 in the pipeline.

Assembled, but still unfired.

Form 4 submitted January 23, 2016. Stamp signed July 7th. Took possession on July 20th.

Ended up with a Bushnell Trophy Red Dot First Strike w/ 5 MOA dot. The mount is a little high for my liking, so I am going to look for a cheap RDS that sits a little lower.

Still need to paint the receiver and suppressor. I intend to paint them close to the color/pattern as the stock.

Going to move the sight mount to the barrel.

Needs a sling.
